We would like to remind all players to protect their passwords and never share them with anyone — not friends, not “staff,” not anyone claiming to be support.
During our latest server and website security audit, we detected multiple suspicious IP addresses attempting to log into various accounts using random usernames and emails.
These attempts are automated password-brute-force attacks, and while our systems have successfully blocked them, we strongly advise every player to stay cautious.
💡 Here’s how to stay safe:
- ✅ Use a unique password for your Max-WoW account — not the same one you use anywhere else.
- 🔑 Change your password regularly, especially if you’ve used it on another website.
- 🚫 Never share your account info with anyone, even if they claim to be from the Max-WoW Team.
- 🧠 Be cautious of fake messages, websites, or Discord users pretending to be “support.”
- 🛡️ Enable any available account protection features and keep your email secure.
Your accounts and characters are valuable — keep them safe.
Our security systems are continuously monitored, and we are actively blocking and reporting malicious IPs.
