Astra’niel — Heavenly Grace

Review:Astra’niel — Heavenly Grace is a Blizz-like PVE WotLK realm with added AI Bots on the Max-WoW server.
From my perspective, I enjoy PVE and am over doing PVP, been playing since 2005 and am one who considers WotLK Blizzard’s finest expansion.
First up I need to say the server is rock steady, very little down time and runs very smoothly (even from Australia). The graphics are great, nice and clean and looks stunning on my 4K monitor. I still have not come across any bugs in the native game (after playing for a couple of months) and the bots work well, I am impressed by their behaviour sometimes, like avoiding poison vials thrown on the ground and the bot runs out of it drawing the enemy out as well. This makes playing delightful, running around with my own personal Tank. 
Now, the bots… they are interesting indeed and I consider them to be some very nice programming. Bots are in Stormwind and Dalaran and I believe there are some running around the world that you can recruit as well. Now you acquire a bot by hiring it, I think the last one I hired cost like 100g and you can hire a whole party of them for dungeons etc. While the bot is in your employment it can not be hired by another player and is your forever friend and companion.
There are a few patches that need to be downloaded from Max-Wow that provide the 10 races to chose from and a bot control panel/bar. You can click on your bot and get a menu of things you can do with it, such as adding gear to it, it’s role, it’s formation, to group and many other instructions like ‘Stay Here and Do Nothing’, I can even get my priest bot to levitate me. The Bot Control Bar works for grouped bots, so send them all in to attack or send one or cast/melee… there seems to be many ways to use bots and of course there are text commands you can type in… a very long list of them. Your bots will level up with you.
From the start after selecting one of the many races for your character you will appear in the start area where a large Panda Start NPC stands ready to sell you very cheap over-the-top starting gear that will see you through to Northrend. You can also buy a Unicorn Zebra mount to get you moving and your own personal Panda companion pet who can sell you gear and buys your junk, so not much need for finding a vendor to empty your bags. There is also the option at the start area for one of your characters to elevate to level 80 with good gear to match to get you going and a generous amount of gold.
As for Professions, you can choose three, it is X5 levelling them up so it doesn’t take forever to build that Mekengineer Chopper you want so badly. Even the fishing isn’t too painful to level up, I’ve already got Mr Pinchy and the Sewer Rat, didn’t take too long at all.
Getting around the world is easy as there are NPCs strategically placed who can send you close to where you want to go… instantly… so forget about catching those slow boats.
This is a great realm to chill out and reminisce days gone by and your love for this wonderfully addictive game. Come, bring your friends and go explore the world of Astra’niel — Heavenly Grace, it is an awesome experience… just when you didn’t think Wow could get any better… here we go...
